As a teenager, I pursued and obtained my VFR pilot's license. I now have over 180 hours of flight time under my belt. The feeling of freedom and adventure that comes with flying is unmatched.
I’m a P3-certified paragliding pilot with 23+ hours of flight time. Competing in cross-country competitions adds an extra layer of excitement and challenge because they require great deal of skill, precision, and strategy in order to navigate long distances and reach designated checkpoints.
I find flying and filming with drones incredibly enjoyable because it allows me to explore new perspectives and capture unique footage. The challenge of mastering the skill and precision required to fly a drone well is also incredibly rewarding. I also love the feeling of control and the ability to navigate the drone smoothly to get the perfect shot.
I built this “bike art car” for Burning Man 2019 and 2022. I built a kit that could connect any two bicycles in about 30 minutes, and what you see is it fully assembled with two bikes I brought to the playa in 2022.
The steering of both bikes is connected. The drive trains are separate. Either cyclist can provide power and the bike drives pretty straight with nearly neutral steering input.
Okay, and it’s decorated like a glowing jellyfish.
I built the roofdeck (and ladder) on this campervan from raw mild steel. The roofdeck includes seating for three with flip-up seatbacks, and a solar panel. The seatbacks fold flat when in transit for increased vertical clearance.
